Fundamentals Scores are calculated from value, growth, quality, financial stability and price trend. For informational purposes only. Not investment advice.
The Fundamentals Score
Five components. One 0–100 score.
Built for valuation convergence over quarters, not day-to-day price calls. Fair-value gaps that close at all tend to resolve over long horizons; whether and when that happens varies and is not guaranteed.
Value
How the price compares with model fair value (margin of safety), blended with how the stock ranks on earnings, sales and cash-flow multiples.
Growth
Revenue and earnings growth trends.
Quality
Profitability and efficiency: net and gross margins, return on equity and return on assets.
Financial Stability
Balance-sheet health: liquidity, leverage and capital structure.
Price Trend
Moving-average trend and 52-week range position, shown as context with only a small weight.
SAVE is a separate sentiment overlay: it reads public web commentary and adjusts the model fair value estimate.
Valuation engine
A valuation model that shows its work.
Most tools apply one formula to every stock. This engine runs 19 methods, weights them by sector, and traces every fair value back to its inputs.
Forward-looking by default
A blended growth rate from 5-year EPS CAGR and trailing earnings growth feeds a forward EPS and a forward P/E fair value, not just trailing multiples.
- Blended EPS and revenue growth rate
- Forward EPS estimate
- Forward P/E fair value and margin of safety
Calibrated by sector
A bank is not valued like a software company. Each sector gets its own method weights, and a weight change ships only after it survives an out-of-sample test.
- Per-sector method weights
- Outlier methods trimmed before blending
- Changes gated on out-of-sample evidence
Reverse DCF: what's priced in
Solving backwards from today's price gives the growth rate the market is implying. Set it beside the model's estimate to see how much optimism is already in the price.
- Market-implied vs. estimated growth
- Plain-English interpretation
- CAPM discount rate, 10-year horizon
Why Equity Rank
Institutional-depth research, built for individual investors.
19 valuation methods, not one guess
DCF, Graham Number, EPV, EV/EBIT, P/FCF, three-stage DCF, and 13 more. Each method produces its own margin of safety, and the composite shows where the methods agree.
Plain-English AI summaries
Every stock gets a short written synthesis of the Fundamentals Score components: what the score means, why it moved, and what the model is detecting. No spreadsheet required.
Options data alongside the score
IV rank, unusual volume flags (contracts over 3× open interest), and put/call sentiment, cross-referenced with the Fundamentals Score so you see both sides of a position.
Ready before the market opens
Scores, fair values, and summaries refresh overnight, every trading day by 6:14 AM CT. Open the screener before the bell and the data is already current.
